The highly versatile Partner is a mid-sized van that is the ideal commercial vehicle for many businesses. With a range of economical Euro6-compliant engines, the Peugeot Partner is affordable to run. You have the choice of two lengths, L1 and L2, and three trim levels: S, SE and Professional.
The first decision to make is whether you need the regular L1 model or the extended length of the L2 Partner. There are two body styles available with the L2 length; a traditional panel van with a rear cargo area and a crew van with space for five people.
The panel van has asymmetric rear doors which open to 180 for easy loading and unloading, and the SE model adds a sliding side door. Upgrade to the Professional model for design details, such as 15-inch Atacama wheel trims.
The crew van has glazed rear doors which open onto the cargo area, and twin sliding side doors to give all occupants easy access to the cabin.
You can utilise up to 3,300 litres of cargo space in the L1 panel van and 3,700 litres in the L2 panel van model. The maximum payload is a generous 850kg in the shorter variant, which drops to 750 in the larger model. The load space has six tie-down hooks to keep your cargo secure and durable floor protection available with the SE model.
The panel van has space for the driver and one passenger to relax in comfort, with individual supportive seats and a spacious cabin. In the range-topping Professional model you can also enjoy air conditioning and a colour touchscreen with DAB radio, Bluetooth connectivity and TomTom GO satellite navigation. The crew van is fitted with an MP3-compatible audio system and a flexible seating system.
Performance and efficiency
The Peugeot Partner panel van is available with a 1.6-litre HDi diesel engine in a choice of three different power outputs. The 75bhp and 92bhp variants feel lively around town, and deliver fantastic fuel economy. If you will be doing regular trips on the motorway and need your van to cover large distances, the higher-powered BlueHDi 100bhp unit will be more comfortable. This engine also comes with start/stop technology to save fuel on urban journeys. As a result, the Partner returns 68.9mpg combined when fitted with this engine, with CO2 emissions of 108g/km. There is also a zero-emissions electric model fuelled by a battery motor, with range of 106 miles from a full charge.
Safety and technology
All variants of this van are equipped with an extensive range of safety systems, including Electronic Stability Control and Anti-lock Braking System with Emergency Brake Assist. You also get Hill Start Assist, which prevents the van from rolling back when you move off on a slope. Peugeot offers a comprehensive locking system as standard to keep your load secure, including deadlocks, central locking and separate locking for the cab. Upgrade to the SE model and the cruise control with speed limiter makes your motorway journeys safer, or to the Professional model for a rear parking aid that can help you avoid low speed collisions.
